Program Malfunction

When I start a program it stops by itself and the picture of a tack appears with the time having changed to 0. We replaced batteries and it still read Lo. What do I do

You need to reset the machine. If turning on the fan resets the console displays, or if the displays becomes dim, the batteries should be replaced. Most console problems are the result of low batteries.
