Tap the Android Market icon from your homescreen, then tap the Search icon in the upper right corner. Type "Screenshot" into the search field and touch "Go." Select a screenshot application from the list; examples include "Screenshot ER2" by Fahrbot Mobile and "Screenshot It" by Edward Kim. These applications work only on rooted Android devices. Wait for the app to download and install, then navigate to the screen that you want to capture. Go to the Applications screen and tap the icon to open it. For "No Root Screenshot It," follow the installation instructions to run the application on your phone. Test the different options available in the app. You can crop shots, set a delayed shot timer and take a shot by shaking the phone in "Screenshot It" and "Screenshot ER2." When finished, touch the "Save" button and then "Share" to upload the image to an online Web album such as Picasa. Also, you will want to check in to your device`s area of support - where other users of the same device will give you help on getting the best out of your device.
