Backlight Problem

after the automatic keyguard gets locked, the display backlight does'nt switches off.. how to correct it out?

Greetings - With Nokia, the maximum backlight time-out should be 60 seconds and this must have been preset. If your last longer that, then you should be looking at either a hardware defect or a bad software.

1. Try a factory settings restore (make backup as this will erase all user data like text messages, contacts...) - Do this by going to Menu>Setting>Rest. factory sett.>... defaults lock code is 12345 unless changed.

2. Try and have the phone's motherboard cleaned with Mathylated spirits (or simply have it serviced in the extreme)
