Greetings - Please note that if you mean completely discharged by fully discharged, then that should mean that the battery sadly is dead as a battery is to reserve a certain amount of charge take charge from higher concertration. However when a phone merely gives the "Battery Empty" message, this means that the battery charge has gone far low that it is no longer enogh to power the phone for operation. If the later defines your case - you can try common tricks like taking the battery out and back in - trying to charge the battery using different phone or trying a universal charger.
