Battery Life Indicator Not Working Properly

I have a question regarding: Nokia C2-01.5 Unlocked GSM Phone with 3.2 MP Camera and Music and Video Player--U.S. Version with Warranty (Black)Have you had any complaints about the battery life not showing up correctly on the phone? I ordered this phone from a vendor on Amazon and the battery indicator says it's fully charged right up until it tells me Low Battery. I reached out to the vendor and their solution was to send me a new battery. I'm still having issues with the phone. I fully charged the battery 3 days ago and it's still saying it's fully charged instead of telling me how much battery life is really left. Is there a setting on the phone not set up right? Before I try and order this phone again through another vendor, I wanted to see if you have heard of this battery indicator issue before.

Normally this is an issue with the battery but if you've gotten a replacement, it must be the phone itself.
