2004 Nissan Murano Xm Radio Artist/title Issue.

I have an 2004 nissan murano and can't get the full artist and title fm my xm radio on my nav screen. It seems to be limited in character length. Everything else (fm/am) radio works fine. Anyone with a suggestion on how to solve this issue. Also if I want to add an ipod attachment due I have to buy another xm radio. Thank you.
