2000 Nissan Quest Speedometer Does Not Work I Changed But Still Does Not Work

NO put the scan tool and gave me this reading p0500 vehicle speed sensor (circuit) I changed my speed sensor but my speedometer or mileage gauge iWork. Any suggestions?

Greetings - The issue may then be stemming on the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) of the wirring in between.

Meaning that the replace speedometer may have had no issues at all.
