1993 Nissan Pickup Support Question

I Have A 1993 Nissan 4x4 Se V6 King Cab With Automatic Transmission.
For whatever reason, some times when I crank the truck up, it runs just like a dream. Other times, however, my truck starts out in second gear, & remains in second gear. When it's acting up, it will not shift out of second gear. If I drop it manually to first, it seems to start out in first, & will shift up manually into second gear, but will not go any further than that. Even if I shift it into drive and overdrive. It stays in second gear. It starts out in second gear. It remains stuck in second gear. I can park it and crank it the following day, & there's a good chance it will run just fine. Maybe not, but often it does. No check engine light has been on. No problems with the transmission fluid. It looked fine. I ran some sea foam transmission stuff through there, & maybe that will get it fixed, but I can't figure out why it does this only sometimes. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are several causes of this problem, one of it is a leak is probably the most recognizable symptom and should be repaired as soon as possible. Letting the fluid leak is one of the most common causes transmission break down. Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) is the life-blood of a transmission as it lubricates, cleans and conditions the seals and acts as hydraulic fluid. But you need to take your car for check up to detect the exact fault.
