Wifi Ext Not Working

I bought the netgear ext when when I register passpharase I put whatever was security but my regular password is different I don't see my netgear booster working coz when it ask passward it don't work I try so many times to reconnect wifi exit.netbnot working can't fix the problem I don't want to messed up my old wifi so how I should fix that problem i want to reset wifi ext and change the password
