You cannot remove movies/tv shows from your Recently Watched List. The only way it could be accomplished is if you delete your profile & sign up for Netflix again with a different account. Another possibility is to keep watching new movies/TV shows, which bumps each previously viewed program closer to the bottom, until it eventually is moved off of the list.

Alternatively, you can delete movies from your "Instant Queue" or "My List":

Removing movies and TV shows from My List is easy.

On the website: Select "Remove from My List" when viewing the details of a movie or TV show.
On your streaming device: Select a title, then select "Remove from My List."
