How To Continue Watching A Show?

Unfortunately, it isn't unheard of that Netflix has more seasons of a series one day then none or only one or two the next. This isn't because Netflix is trying to be mean, but because it has to negotiate content agreements on the financial end of things, and sometimes the person or people who own the rights' to a certain show will only allow temporary access on a temprary contract, especially with shows that are still on the air and coming out with new seasons. They like to remain in control of their copyright content while that is happening, so they can renegotiate how much they can make off of loaning out or selling full seasons. The good news is that often Netflix will re-negotiate with them and the next season might pop right back up in a week or a month. Until then, there isn't much you can do other then wait for the DVDs to come out, or try to catch the episodes on TV. You can try other sites that are similar to NetFlix such as Hulu or Amazon Prime. They may have the seasons you're looking for.

It is normal. Netflix buys licenses for movies and shows, and the licenses have a time limit on them. When the license runs out and is not renewed, the show/movie is dropped from the Netflix catalog.
