Continue Playing Menu

when tv series has started a continued show a menu will sometimes pop up with three selections the first being continue playing..then two other questions. How can this be stopped? If I didn't want it to continue I would have stopped it! I can't leave my computer desk to lay down because of this problem. Please help.

This popup pisses me off so much too. I think it has more to do with Netflix trying to save bandwidth but it makes no sense at all why they decided to cut your continuous playing in the middle of your shows instead of between them. I connected a 2nd keyboard to my computer and used a few USB extenders to get it to my couch so I don't have to get up and walk accross my room to hit spacebar every episode.

This menu appears to give you a choice. Some people decide after resuming a show that they don't want to watch it after all, and so the option is there to delete it. Leaving your computer desk has nothing to do with the function of Netflix. In any event, you can't "stop" the menu from appearing.
