Stopped Working

I watch BBC iPlayer via Zenmate for Firefox, recently after updating itself to 38.0.1, I can no long get any programs on BBC iPlayer!!!. Chrome still works fine, and Firefox worked fine up to a recent update!!!.Says content doesnt seem to be working, please try again later!!!!!. Very frustrating, have tried uninstalling both Firefox and Zenmate and re-installing, also deleted BBC iPlayer bookmark and reloaded it, still doesnt work.Any suggestions?, do I need to add anything to extensions?, of make changes to network settings.Long time Firefox user.

Hello, you can follow the steps in this article to revert back to an older version of Firefox so that your programs will work. Perhaps with Firefox's next update, that particular bug will be fixed.

My suggestion is to do what I did: Change from the standard Firefox channel to the ESR [Extended Support Release] channel. Firefox using ESR is continually updated just like standard Firefox [called the "release version"] but it's more stable, as changes are made more slowly. For example, the current ESR version is 37, which is comparable to the (outdated) standard ver. 37 but omits glitches found in that version. Instructions for switching will be found at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=11131343#p11131343. By the time the ESR version reaches ver. 38, the difficulty you report will most likely be corrected. You can switch back at any time.
