How To Fix Threading?!!! Help!!!

So I have a motorola i856w and when I go to my settings on my text messages I set it to threading by sender. But after I do that it doesn't show any of my texts at all?! But it still notifies me that I have a text but I just can't open it cuz it doesn't show it! This didn't happen when I bought this? This just happen randomly one day? And I really do like this threading feature it just really sucks because it won't work anymore?! How can I fix it so I can use this threading setting on my phone?! Please help yo!
