Little To No Signal

I bought Motorola w418g phone from walmart, straight talk and have little to no signal anywhere.  straight talk help lines are useless considering you cannot understand the accent of the assistants on the line.  no has issues getting signal with other straight talk phones it is just this one.  Why?
