Can I Use My Motorola Droid2 Global Phone In Thailand?

I have a Motorola Droid2 Global Phone---can it be used in Thailand? Does it have to be unlocked--it is currently on the Verizon Network? How do I unlock our make it Useable in Thailand? Is the Thai Language supported on this phone and How to I set it up for Thai?
