My Car Sounds Like A Chuffing Steam Train.
Been to several garages and all have different reasons and expensive solutions, don't want to risk one to find out its wrong! Anyone please advise!

Do you mean it sounds like it may not be running on all its cylinders? Like a chugging sound that speeds up as the engine is reved? sparkplug may be fouled or a sparkplug wire may be worn out. Plugs and wires are not expensive and are not hard to change out. Our definitions of a chuffing steam train may be different but this is where I would start. Good Luck.
