How Can We Clear Waterproof System Activation Without Tilting Washer?

Dryer is on top of washer. To tilt at 45 degrees we have to pull out the stacked W/D, detach and remove dryer, then tilt washer. It happens too often and it is too heavy for my wife to do and too complicated and difficult for this to be a routine fix. Can we override the system to totally deactivate this flood/leak protection? This time it happened 4 days after doing laundry.
