Main Dispenser Cover Issue

Model 6805Keeps warning me that the main dispenser cover needs to be attended to, I press "ok" and it resumes operation but cancels the drink in progress; a rather annoying and costly event since it had processed the beans for dispensing. I have removed the cover, cleaned the main dispenser unit and replaced the cover. It keeps occurring on a regular basis. Can you offer some advice?Thank you

It sounds like there may be an issue with the sensor or mechanism that detects the main dispenser cover. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Ensure that the main dispenser cover is clean and free of any debris or residue that may interfere with the sensor.
  2. Check that the cover is properly seated and latched securely into place. If the cover is loose, it may not be triggering the sensor properly.
  3. Check the sensor itself for any damage or malfunction. If you notice any issues, you may need to contact Miele customer support for further assistance.
  4. Try resetting the machine by turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This may help reset the sensor and clear any errors.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact Miele customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting advice or arrange for a service technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
