you may try to use another browser like chrome or firefox
google chrome- https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
firefox- http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
safari- http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1531
and ther is a lot more about the problem try maybe to see if you are connected to an out dated proxy server or firewall rules is blocking it
