I would suggest contacting Microsoft directly either by email or phone and telling them that you are having problems activating Windows 7 on a replacement hard drive for your computer. Unfortunately, many other people run into this problem as well. They may ask you a few questions such as what type of computer and hard drive so that they feel more at ease that your cause is legitimate but will then give you a new key to activate your copy of Windows.
