why i was charged $20.00 for metro collect calls that did not connect

Unless explicitly stated in your end user agreement you will get billed any time your phone accesses the network, including wrong numbers.

You will need to call MetroPCS and discuss the situation with a rep.  They may decide to refund the charges but you must call them directly.  1-888-863-8768
