I found this answer on another web page and it worked.
"The customer service number for Metro PCS is" 888-863-8768 How to reach a live person: Keep pressing "#" through all messaging and the system will eventually give up (after around the 4th time) at which time it will ask you to either press 1 to continue or hang up. After you press 1 you will be connected to a person after a series of beeps."
