Receiving Text Messages

If the messages are long, you may want to ask your friends and family to send shorter texts, as some phones allow for only a certain amount of characters per text. You may also want to check your coverage area for both Internet and messaging to see if your area is covered well on the Metro PCS main site. Check your phone's settings to make sure it can receive and send certain types of messages. For instance if you or a friend send/receive text messages with pictures or other things it may be in mms form and your phone may not be able to do that, depending on the type and on your plan. You may also want to try rebooting your phone or removing the battery for a minute and putting it back in. Sometimes this can resolve issues.
