Jerking While Accelerating

I have a 2007 Mountaineer. Every time I acceralerate while getting on the highway or going more then 40mph, I feel a jerking feeling like the engine is either jumping or shaking inside. It's only when I put my foot on the pedal to accelerate. PLEASE HELP!!!
