Retrieving An Ignition Key

One of my ignition keys has fallen into a space behind the hinge for the gas cap cover. The space is to the left of the actual gas cap. It's too far in for me to reach with my fingers, but I cannot tell how deep this space actually is. I'm hoping to find a diagram of that particular area of the body to determine if I even have a chance of being able to retrieve the key without dismantling major parts of the car's body
