Headlight Adjustment

I need help adjusting the headlights on my 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. There is an adjustment screw near the top of the back of the headlights and one near the bottom. Which screw adjusts the horizonal and which adjusts the vertical?

They both adjust the vertical alignment. There is no way (or need) to adjust them horizontally. You adjust them by first determining if your lights are set too high or too low. If they are too high, you turn in the bottom screw. If they are too low, you turn in the top screw.
