Rear (firewall) Valve Cover Hose Connection

I just completed changing the valve cover gaskets and noticed a tube sticking out of the valve cover but i am unable to find the hose. Does someone know where the hoe ?ise comes from before I take this thing all apart again. Thanks, Alex
