Extreme Knocking And Bucking Of Van

We bought a 2000 Mercury Villager Estate van used but it had all the records & had been well maintained. It ran a little rough so we had all the plugs, wires, fluids replaced. Still ran rough, turned out to be a fuel injector which was replaced. Still ran a little rough so they replaced the knock sensor as that code was on. Now it will buck, stop, runs extremely rough. They just replaced the distributor yesterday and it still is acting up. What do we need to do at this point? This is a reputable, national company with mechanics we have dealt with for over 20 years so we are confident in their work. We are all stumped and pretty frustrated. Any suggestions or history of problems with this particular year of van? Thank you, Teresa Swango
