Power Drain
My 1999 mercury sable has a power drain. Battery won't stay charged. Seems to be anti-theft light blinking and making clicking sound. How do I turn it off?

I know of no way to disable the passive security system. I do not think it is pulling your battery down. I suggest you take your vehicle by a parts store or local shop & let them test your charging system & scan for any fault codes. It seems that you have a short circuit in the wiring.
