The check engine light came on tonight as I was driving home from work but the car seems to drive okay. What might the problem be?

Its probably an o2 sensor but it could be anything. Anytime the check engine light comes comes on, the vehicle should be taken in for diagnostics. Check your fluid levels first then take it to a trusted mechanic so they can pull the trouble code(s) and once you know whats wrong, you can then make an informed decision.
