Music But No Words

When playing a song I can hear the music but not the words. I know the words are on the cd b/c I can hear it when played on my computer.

Is there a karaoke function on this machine? If so, make sure the vocals button is turned up. Some boomboxes have the ability to turn the vocals off but keep the background music.
