To turn the unit off, Press the STOP (I) /POWER OFF button ƒ while in the Stop mode. 1 AUTO POWER OFF Slide to the ON position to disable the buttons; "Hold" will appear in the display. Slide to the OFF position to enable the buttons. For the HOLD function, only the buttons will be disabled, not the other controls/switches (i.e., DBBS switch, VOLUME control, CD OPEN switch).
