Please record the average of at least three tests, then, contact Internet Support at 866-452-4747 with your results. This will assist in determining your slow speeds and if it is needed to schedule a tech to go out to your location.
If you are using a router, and your speeds pick up once you have disconnected it, then you may have an issue with your router and you will need to contact the router manufacturer for assistance with that equipment; we are not authorized to troubleshoot routers.
Please keep in mind whenever you swap the device directly connected to the modem, you will need to power the modem down for a full 5 minutes. During that 5 minute period, you can hook up the Ethernet cable. Once the 5 minutes are up, turn the modem on first, let all the lights come on like normal, then power on the new device.
If you need further assistance with this, you can contact us at 866-452-4747 and we can make sure that the modem is clean and ready for a new device. However, generally the 5-minute wait will clear up any device swap issues.
