How Can I Install My New Product Key

I have bought a new Mcafee internet security card and cannot enter the product key code as instructed on the informstion sheet that came with it=very disappointed. Norton much easier and quicker to install. Have been at it for ages but thinking of taking back and changing to an easier set up process.
