Substitute For Power Steering Fluid
Can I stubstitute transmission fluid for power steering fluid in a 2002 mazda B3000?

You could probably get away with it, but why would you try? Tranny fluid is around $5.00 a quart and power steering fluid is around $3.00 for 12 ounces. If your power steering pump needs more than a few ounces to top it off, you have a leak somewhere.
Let me also warn you to never put power steering fluid in your transmission. It is not compatible at all.
