If the hazards and turn signals are not activating on your 2002 Mazda Tribute, here are a few potential solutions:

Check the Fuses: The first thing to check is the fuses related to the turn signals and hazards. Locate the fuse box and check the diagram on the lid or in the owner's manual to find the correct fuses. If any are blown, replace them with a new one.

Check the Flasher Unit: The flasher unit is responsible for the operation of the turn signals and hazards. It may have become damaged or worn out over time. Consult your owner's manual or a repair manual to locate the flasher unit, and try replacing it with a new one.

Check the Bulbs: If the fuses and flasher unit are in good condition, check the bulbs. Make sure they are properly seated in the sockets and not burnt out. If any bulbs are burnt out, replace them with a new one.

Check the Wiring: If the bulbs, fuses, and flasher unit are all in good condition, check the wiring for any damage or loose connections. Make sure the wiring is properly connected and not corroded.
