Mosquitos In Washer, Water Possibly Standing In Drum.

Does the new washers Md. mvwc400xw0 hold water in drum after cycle is complete? Washer is located in garage  and is full of mosquitos after having been used. I know this sounds crazy but when you open it after it sets from being used they swarm out! I don't have any of the odor problems that i've heard about and my wife has cleaned it several times according to the instructions with bleach and the new tide cleaner. the washer is only 2 months old and works great otherwise. we're located in the hill country and generally never have any issues with mosquitos what so ever! Any suggestions?

Most washers will have standing water in them after you run a load. It usually is not that bad though, I would run a few more cycles with bleach and the cleaner just to try and kill off the mosquitos, but other than that it is best to leave the door open if possible to let it air out and dry out. I would call the manufacturer though and discuss it with them. To my knowledge there shouldn't be THAT much water in it to where it encourages mosquito reproduction.
