Not Cleaning Well

I just bought this washer and I have a 12 yr old boy in baseball. I can not get his pants clean.  Actually, my whites are not cleaning well at all.

You say you just bought the washer and now your whites dont come out clean, correct? Are you sure the hot and cold water lines didnt get hooked up backwards? Whites get cleaner in hot water as I'm sure you know. Start it up and check and see if the water ever gets hot. If not swap the hoses in the back of it.

If you agree that the answer I provided is correct please remember to "accept" and/or mark it as "helpful" so I know I'm doing a good job. Thank you, I would really appreciate it.
