Washer Will Not Turn On

Washer will not light up or turn on. It makes a funny little noise when you plug it in, but that is it. Outlet works just fine, anything else I plug into it works just fine. This washer has been a continual problem for the past two years. Is there a reset fuse or breaker somewhere in the washer that could be causing this problem. Thank you Kindly ~ Anna
