You cannot wash tiny socks loosely they must be put in a mesh bag because they get caught near the door and as its spinning they pull and rip the bellow.  Also you cannot wash tennis shoes in the front load because they beat at the bellow and it rips.  One last thing, I've been warned that if you fill the washer past 3/4 of the way full the wait inside the drum pulls also and rips the bellow.  My service repairman has come out 3 times also to repair the bellow but all in this same year.  We have a large family and I tried to cut too many corners.  Each solution was given to me by my Sears repairman.
