Sound Inquiry
Just got a new Centennial Maytag washer yesterday. It is making a loud almost grinding like sound when it senses and washes. Is this normal? It is my first HE washer. I read that there is a screw underneath that sometimes can be tightened. Should I look at that or is this normal?

Yes look you that nut (holds the drum pulley and tend to come off). If nothing like this proves to the issue, then check with your retailer as you should still be in warranty. The grinding sound is NOT normal :)
