No Spin Situation
I have a Maytag model MAH2400AWW washer. It seems to drain, but will not spin and have gotten an E3 code. On the normal wash mode the timer will stop at 54 minutes. Belt is ok. Do you have any suggestions?

Tip the washer back and take the hose off of the pump. It's in the front right side, facing the washer. It's held in place by a clip clamp, be careful when you squeeze the clips, the edges are sharp. Pull off the hose and you'll probably get a gush of water and a bunch of quarters and hairpins. Put the hose back on and see if it works. I've fixed several front loaders for friends...this is always the problem.
