Ovens

My MayTag 850 series #MGR6875ADS 30" freestanding gas double oven range won't keep correct temperature when set. I set it at 350 degrees and the panel says 350 degrees but the inside of the oven temp goes up and down. One time it will be 300 and the next it will be 425 degrees. What would cause this? Thanks, Shirley
