Atm Exchange Rate In Croatia
Hi,
I am citizen of EMU (Slovenia) and I have question regarding ATM withdrowal in Croatia (non EMO and EU). Our currency is EURO and Croatia has Kuna.
When I want to withdraw cash with Maestro debet card in ATM (EURONET - location AC DOLE - Zivogosce Blato), they suggest me their currency conversion 1 EUR = 6.99 HRK, which is very bad conversion regarding MasterCard conversion. I really need money to pay bills and there is no other ATM around 10km. So if I could get money I have to agree with this currency conversion.
My question is, if this kind of conversion is legal or not? I think all ATM should use MC corrency conversion.
