How Can I Take A Phone Number From Another Company

The phone numbers are not owned by the respective phone companies. Here's what to do if you don't like the number magicJack assigned you:

On my.magicjack.com, select the Phone Numbers tab and click the button for Add a Phone Number. (Here's a lengthy list of currently supported area codes. Here's a longer list that includes local prefixes.) magicJack charges $10 to make the change.
