Sorry you're having problems. In its FAQ, magicJack does indeed tell you that after hooking up your device via the USB port you need to "Click on 'Click Here To Register' in the left window of the magicJack PLUS SoftPhone."

If you use a MAC, you have to first double-click the magicJack PLUS icon that appears.

If you don't see "Click Here To Register," look for "Click Here for Free Trial."

magicJack offers only the most feeble customer support. However, you can try phoning them, at 561-594-9925. You may also reach magicJack by writing:

If all else fails, you can dispute any payment with your credit card provider or complain to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399. If it's within 30 days, you can return the product using these instructions.
