Toll Free 1 800 Numbers?

I would like to know if the 2104 magic jack plus can dial 1 800 numbers i have read some reviews and some people in Canada said it would not go through. I live in Ontario Canada and need to download info everyday to my work using a 1 800 number. Thank You James Smith

magicJack's documentation does not exclude calls to toll-free numbers. However, magicJack's Terms of Serviceprovides:

We may require prepaid purchase and/or we may charge you for calls to conference lines, platforms and certain high cost calls, or any call wherein we incur a cost from another carrier.

Less scrupulous providers of service require your agreement to extensive Terms of Service that include limitations that are inconsistent with promotional wording on which you would naturally rely—knowing that folks rarely wade through and comprehend those extensive documents. I'm afraid magicJack is one of those less scrupulous outfits.

I've never a call to a toll-free number that could not be made as well with a regular toll number—so I'd make sure that's not so in your case. Also, if your job is across the border in the US, the toll-free nuumber might not work in Canada.
