You can send faxes - I had a problem UNTIL I went to Radio Shack & bought a DSL line filter for $20. Now no problems at all. Keep in mind you still need to use most if not all the other recommended fax modem settings for using a Magicjack for faxing. There are several sites & forums that will give you those settings. We use it in our dump truck business & it sure beats a second phone line for $50 / month. Try it & if it doesn't work just take the filter back. I see Best Buy has an RCA filter for $17.99 in stock at all the store around here. Hope this helps.
