Majic Jack Plus Configuration

I have connected my Majic Jack Plus, and it is giving error code 3002 check internet connection. It works fine while hooked into th USB on my computer, which is also behind my router along with other devices that have no problem getting internet. What do I need to do to get this thing working?

If you hear error 3002 when trying to place a call with your magicJack PLUS, you are having an issue with your modem.

To resolve this, you can try the following:

Option 1:

Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and make sure they allow multiple devices to be connected to their modem. There are some ISP's that only allow one device to be connected.

Option 2:

Connect a router to your modem and let the router handle DHCP (most routers have this setting enabled by default). Once the router is connected to the modem, you can connect the magicJack PLUS to one of the available Ethernet ports on the back of your router.
